Director KeAyra Williams is from Indianapolis, IN and graduated from Ball State University with a degree focused in Business and African American Studies. Her college and life experiences naturally lead her to a career in Higher Education focused in building relationships that will engage and impact high school students on their collegiate journey. Passionate about social justice, education, and community engagement; she strongly believes that education can and should be used as a vehicle for liberation.
Project Coordinator Ms. Abby is an Emporia State University graduate from Fredonia, Kansas. She is also an alumna from the Independence Community College Upward Bound program. Considering her passions it was only right that as an advocate for education, she would move to Muncie and begin her career with Upward Bound. Miss Abby is grateful for the opportunity to guide future first generation students like herself to collegiate success. In her free time, she's all about creativity, photography, and plant shopping.
College Coach Dachele is from Indianapolis, IN and her experience in her hometown has fostered her passion for marginalized people. She went on to get her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Ball State, where she currently is in Graduate school for Rehabilitation counseling. While she is also passionate about mentorship, Dachele believes relationships can take people far. Mentoring our students is her favorite aspect of working as a college coach.
